You do not see these lovely vintage bridal trousseau nightgowns much any more and especially one lavished with so much lace and detailing. The nightgown is by Vanity Fair who was known for their beautiful peignoirs and nightgowns and was a superb manufacturer of fine lingerie.
The nightgown has the most beautiful scalloped lace on the bodice which extends to the waist and is lined is with silky smooth Nylon Tricot lining. Triple satin spaghetti straps. More lace surrounding the back of the nightgown. Very creamy feeling Nylon Tricot fabric. Gently curved scalloped hemline for interest.

Condition: Very good - some faint imperfections in the skirt - hard to see unless holding up to the light and closely examining it - won't be seen at night - looks like the former owner took up a bit of the bodice in the center - not sure what she did - some wear to the top of the lace surrounding the bodice with a bit missing under one arm but no one would ever notice that - price has been lowed significantly for the small imperfections.

You cannot look at the measurements & think that those are your own measurements & that it will fit. All garments need to be a few inches larger than one's own body measurements for a good fit.
All items are pre-owned by someone unless otherwise stated as new old stock and may have some signs of wear which is understandable. I always note any major obvious imperfections although a small one may slip through without my noticing it and if I miss it, it must be very small.
All items are wrapped with acid-free tissue. No item will ever be sent wrinkled beyond belief in an old plastic grocery bag inside of an old reused marked up envelope as has happened to me by some sellers. I think too much of my customers & my products to do that to anyone.
All vintage items are just that vintage & not new straight from the mall– and may show some imperfections, wear and use because of the age. I try to list any imperfection but a small one could slip by unintentionally. All sales are final.
Items are shipped parcel post, priority or first class depending on the weight, destination & what the item is at seller's discretion. International orders cannot be returned or refunded to credit card or any other manner so chose your item carefully & check the measurements thoroughly.
