French Vintage Linen Kitchen Towels Set of Five offers / French Vintage Linen Torchons / French Farmhouse Linen Kitchen Towels / Shabby Chic Decor

Set of five French kitchen "cuisine" cloths/torchons - simply wonderful, beautiful to look at and use. Linen has been the fabric of choice for European kitchen for ages, and these five kitchen towels are beautiful examples. The fabric absorbs moisture, ages beautifully, has wonderful texture to it. These towels are in excellent to very good condition. They date from about 1930 - 50.

Use them as hand towels, tea towels, oversize napkins, wash them in a washing machine (these have been washed and pressed, but I recommend washing them before the first use anyway).

To offer you this beautiful set, I selected five towels in different sizes, traditional color scheme, but of different design, and fabric texture. You will receive:

- one linen towel with three red stripes running along two long sides of it, roughly 61cm x 77cm; off white background
- one linen towel with three red stripes (one thick two thin ones running along two sides), about 53cm x 93cm; small initials SC sawn in in one corner; tab for hanging
- one linen towel with three red stripes on both long sides (a thicker one bordered by two thinner ones), on oatmeal white background, with an elaborately embroidered initials IG; about 59cm x 81cm
- one linen (could be a mix of linen/cotton) torchon with blue stripes along each side, on white background, about 49cm x 58cm
- one offers linen red on white checkered torchon; about 57 x 66cm

Condition: very good to excellent, there may be one or two very small stains

You will receive a set of five kitchen towels as described above.

A few words about shipping, returns, exchanges, cancellations…

Currently there are some countries where I am not able to ship to, that includes countries in a state of war, Great Britain, and Germany. I do ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and countries in the European Union. If you have a question if I ship to your country, please send me a convo.

If you've changed your mind, please notify me asap - I accept cancellations within two days after purchase.

Regretfully I cannot accept exchanges or returns*. Because all items I sell are vintage, they will show signs of age. If you have concerns, please contact me with questions, requests for additional photos, before you make a purchase. I make a lot of effort to point out any features and potential faults of the items I sell. All items are sold “as is”. They all have little “faults” which in case of vintage just adds to their charm in my opinion.

You will get a confirmation of your order as soon as the order is placed. Your purchase is shipped within 3-5 working days after payment has cleared my account.

I pack your order securely, taking care to protect it from damage in transport, and ship it from France via La Poste/Colissimo which means that it can take up to 2 weeks for Europe or 3-4 weeks to arrive elsewhere. I am not responsible for any delivery or customs delays or additional costs - all import taxes / customs are the responsibility of the client - in accordance with the requirements of the country of destination.

This shipping comes with tracking, but no insurance. But if you prefer/require priority post or additional contents insurance to cover the value of your item - please notify me in advance - this can be arranged for you at the additional cost price and added to your order before checkout/payment.

If your item arrives in damaged packaging or if you are unhappy with the condition in which you receive your parcel - please do not open the package. Either obtain a declaration/proof from the delivery person or take it, unopened, to your local post office. This will facilitate a claim - especially if you have taken out additional insurance.

Please note that I cannot take financial responsibility if the delivery address provided is incorrect or if your item is returned undelivered.

Your order will require a signature on delivery. If your order is returned to me because noone was available to sign for the package, the shipping charges will not be refunded (this includes orders marked "free shipping").
