When I first saw this hat I instantly thought of 1930's church picnics and out door ice cream socials! How fun would that have been?! When I picked this hat up I was instantly amazed by its quality and overall weight! I looked and saw the sweet band and all the original markings and labels. I thought to my self how cool a reproduction straw hat! How neat! Doing research however I've found it's is original! And close to a hundred years old!! How very cool! Obviously never used and was stored and cared for VERY well to say the least! I can't say enough about the weave of material the labels and markings the ribbon around the hat simply amazing! This is museum quality you will be hard pressed to find a hat in this condition for this price!
