We've designed this cute whole cloth quilt using Spoonflower fabric from amy_cole_design_. It's a whimsical design of safari animals & plants. There's baby giraffes, sloths, elephants, zebras and lions. The colors are primarily white, grey melon and gold, with pink, red & light blue accents. We added a row of fabric printed with fun ball head pins in melon & gold for contrast. The back is grey with black and white polka dots. It has a gold striped binding that was machine sewn to the front & hand sewn to the back. We've machine quilted it in two designs, vertical lines on the pin fabric and vertical & horizontal lines creating a diamond design on the rest.

The top, bottom and binding are 100% cotton, and stitched using Aurifil 100% cotton thread. The batting is a blend of 50% cotton and 50% bamboo which is hypo-allergenic and naturally antibacterial. This combination makes for a soft & lightweight yet substantial quilt. It's cool in the summer, while great for layering during the winter. We prewash all of our quilts using Deft unscented detergent and a color catcher sheet, ensuring they'll be safe against your baby's skin. Our quilts should be machine washed in cool water on the gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or line dry.

34” offers x 43” -- This quilt is big enough for a crib and a good size for babies in general. It's perfect for tummy time and would also be a nice stroller blanket. And of course, it would be a wonderful gift to welcome a new baby!
