Vintage studio pottery container by Louis Dage (1885-1963), France.
Art Deco style design almost reminds me of Galle (French glass artist).
This is a very old pottery, much older than Mid Century Modern potteries that I'm offers used to sell. It is very difficult to estimate its age. Please understand 1940's is only my random guess. It can be older or newer ( cannot be newer than 1963).
