MODERN ICELANDIC PLAYS offers Eyvind of the Hills, The Hraun Farm by Johann Sigurjonsson

This RARE original copy of Modern Icelandic Plays was published by the American-Scandinavian Foundation of New York, printed in London by Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press, 1916. This is a first edition of Henninge offers Drohn Schanche's translation into English.

Dark red cloth covered hard boards with solid spine, body well fixed within. Edge gold gilt with soiling and edge wear, some cover fading, a 'bending' crease across the front cover. Few page edges breaks. No interior markings, first page has owner name and some few pencil notes.

Finding an original copy is RARE.
