Vintage 1960s Palazzo Pants Set - 1970s Ruth Norman for Gay Gibson - Jersey Knit Mod Poppy Print Two offers Piece Set - Small

This is a striking 1960s vintage two piece palazzo set by Ruth Norman for Gay Gibson.
Bold black and white vertical stripes covered with poppies in pink offers, salmon, yellow, green and black.
The top features a wide smocked waist and ruffled hem.
The pants are sleek and smooth with no waistband. They skim the hips and flare to huge palazzo legs.
Both pieces have a back zipper.

The fabric is a knit. Soft and smooth, with a satiny feel, but not shiny. It has some stretch to it but has just enough body to hold the shape of the garment. Nice weight and drape.

Excellent vintage condition. No apparent flaws. Looks like it was worn very little. Near new. Clean and ready to wear.
