8 enchanting, antique, large towels / tea towels from the estate.
Magnificent flax - linen and cotton _ Half linen. Unused peasant dowry. Finest strip of offers damask, partially pre-washed.
Size approx. 49 x 90 cm / 0.53 x 0.98 yard, weight approx. 1100 grams.

Produced around 1900 to about 1920.
Without monogram, very thick, solid quality. Linen chain, cotton weft in herringbone weaving, red stripes woven on the sides.

6 pieces pre-washed, still lime white. 2 pieces are unwashed, strengthened and still beige brown. They all turn white over time. The cotton has small dark dots. They are preserved after washing.

For tea towels, they are actually too firm and too thickly woven. They are sturdy and durable towels. Well absorbent, unused and undamaged. There is 1 hanger each.

Some bearing dirt at the edges of the kinks and a few darkened starch stains are still present again after many years. The cloths smell very slightly of dust and old wooden chest. The dirt and smell will disappear during laundry. Please use soda or stain spray if necessary.

For use as a cook-proof towel / guest towel, as a table runner, or as herringbone fabric for further processing - as a pillow fabric, for quilting, patchwork, lavender bags, St. Nicholas boots, Easter bunny pillows, hearts, rustic linen bags etc.

Slight color deviations from the photo are possible.
Delivery: 8 x antique cloth made of half linen, WITHOUT further decoration.
