Daughters of Rebekah Necklace and Brooch Pin, circa 1940s/1950s

This pretty mid-century Daughters of Rebekah necklace and brooch pin set features the symbolic colors of the Rebekahs, pink and light green, and the I.O.O.F. three-link chain emblem. Both pieces are made from a rose gold-tone metal.
Necklace has a cable link chain with spring ring clasp, and features a circle pendant with the three-link chain emblem attached to a V-shape of 3 pink and 2 green prong set rhinestones. Necklace is approx. 18 3/4" long with 1 5/8" drop. Spring ring clasp has a slight lip to pull it open instead of the more common tab.
Pin features a bow with a half moon, two sets of three-link chain emblems, an "R" for Rebekahs, and an upside-down V-shape made up of 3 pink and 2 green prong set rhinestones hanging from it. Bow has brooch pin on back that fastens with a locking C clasp. Brooch is approx. 2" long x 1 1/2" wide.

Necklace and brooch are in very good vintage condition offers, with some spots of wear to the back and light surface marks to the bow and the R on the brooch. There is very little wear to the rose gold-tone on the rest of the brooch or necklace. Rhinestones are firmly set, pin is straight and locking C clasp works well. Please see photos.

"The Daughters of Rebekah is a women's group associated with the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.). The Rebekahs group was founded in 1851, making it the first women's auxiliary connected to any American fraternal order."

Today, Rebekah lodges continue to be active in community and charitable projects, with a creed "To live peaceably, do good unto all, as we have opportunity and especially to obey the Golden Rule, Whatsoever ye would that others should do unto you, do ye even so unto them." These beautiful pieces would be a welcome addition to a collection or for today's Daughters of Rebekah member. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, thank you!
