It is encased within a specially-made clamshell box, lined in red felt, with printed labels to the boards and spine. Sl. bowing to the boards (as is to be expected from vellum), and sl. scuffing to the box; else both in near fine condition. Leather Bound.
A very attractive facsimile edition of two important accounts offers of 16th century exploration: the first, Raleigh's account of the discovery of Guiana, was published in London in 1596; and the second, Galvano's account of the discoveries of the world, was also first published in London, in 1601.
