Product code: Blacktip Shark offers in Rescued Hardwood
The blacktip shark is a coastal, warm-water fish much prized by sportsmen and gourmands. Its nature is considered rather timid as sharks go, but it has been blamed for a handful of attacks on people through the years. Small fish are its prefered food, normally.
My version of this handsome beachcomber is carved from rescued hardwood, stained, painted with acrylics, and protected by clear spray. Mounted to a maple base, it is dated and initialled by myself. It measures about 11" offers long and 7-3/4" high by 4-1/2" wide at the pectorals.
This is a fine looking animal with sleek lines and interesting color patterns. It would look splendid anywhere.
