Oh the nostalgia in creating this though most is before my time!
This retro cookbook was created using a cereal box with a reinforced spine covered in gingham fabric to inspire the cookbooks of the time. I've included pages of vintage cookbooks, embroidery magazines, a floral decorating book, scrapbook paper, paper doilies, tea and avocado dyed paper and a few copies of my grandmother's recipes. The books used are in the 1940s, 1950s and early 1960s era. It is loaded with pockets and tucks and includes vintage receipts, green stamps, handmade tags and recipe cards. Each signature has a machine stitched first and last page with pocket as well.
This book would be great as a gift for a wedding or shower, Mid century vintage collectors or to use as a recipe offers keeper or journal.
It is 9"x6" with a 2" spine
