This is a handmade rug, made in the beginning of the XX century. The rug s kept in a very good antique condition, without damages of any kind. The colors are in great shape, not faded at all. The rug was made of natural and organic cotton, hand woven on a horizontal loom. It is rare a cotton rug to be found, mostly in this region the rugs were of wool. The rug is made of two equal offers pieces, also known as kilim pictures, and they are sewn together. The pattern and design is typical for the traditional ethnic fabric creations in Macedonia in the XIX and XX century.
It is a woolen warm and soft, hypo-allergenic rug, acceptable by many recipients.
