Vintage Solid Wood Turned Mortar and offers Pestle

This is a Vintage Solid Turned Wood Mortar and Pestle. The Mortar measures approx. 6 1/4 inches tall. The Pestle measures approx. 6 1/2 inches long. They are both in good condition with normal age wear. The mortar has a beautiful design in the wood. I offers cannot tell what type of wood it is, but the grain of the wood is beautiful. Both pieces are solid wood and they both have been turned. The Mortar shows one knot where they left it when making it and it gives it nice character, and on two other spots it shows where knots must have fallen out so they had to plug them. One is about the size of a dime and the other is the size of a pea roughly. It has a nice finish they put on it too. It has not been used much. Any Questions please ask before you purchase.
