Large Egyptian / Mesopotamian Style Collectable Chess Set - Jet Black and Antique Stone

About The Set:

This listing is for a brand new Egyptian / Mesopotamian style collectable chess set, hand crafted by yours truly and would make an ideal and unusual gift offers. Each piece is carefully crafted from super hard casting materials giving a durable high quality result yet still retaining an antique carved stone finish.

Colours available:

Unless you specify otherwise the colours for this set for are Jet Black for the dark and antique stone for the white. If you would prefer Antique Red instead of the black, or the white, then just let me know and I'll be more than happy to oblige....

Also available is deep walnut, in fact, you can mix and match any of these colours if you like. If you'd like any colours that aren't listed here then let me know before your purchase and I'm sure I'd be able to accommodate you.

The king is just over 4.5 inches in height making it a good sized set and would suit a standard tournament board (not included I'm afraid) with squares about two inches or more.

Vinyl Chess Mat:

This set also comes with an optional vinyl chess mat/board so you can start playing as soon as you receive it. This is a black and white mat with 2 inch squares and is tough, durable and wipe clean.

Packaging:

Each piece is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then the whole set. This is then packed in a sturdy cardboard box into which is packed polystyrene peanuts for extra padding. Sets are usually dispatched the next working day, unless you specify an unusual colour in which case you might, but not always, have to wait an extra day.

NOTE:

And don't forget, you can create your own bespoke set put together using any of the pieces from any of the sets in my shop in any colours you like. A real mix and match. So, for example, if you would like an Isle of Lewis set but prefer the King from a different set and/or the pawns from another set then that's no problem. As long as I currently make the pieces you can create whatever set you like. Simply request a custom order with your requirements and I'll do my best to accommodate. ☺
