This listing is for the shade only. This lovely shade is of a watercolor hand-painted daisy cut-out design. This shade will show the color if the light is on or off! But the design is accentuated with the light on!
The paper is an antique white which helps this item have an antique vintage look!
CLEANING: Because this is watercolor, the shade cannot get wet or damp. To clean, use a feather duster or something similar. Nothing damp or wet!!!
IF ORDERING A CHIMNEY SHADE: NOTE: If ordering a chimney top shade, this shade is to be used on an electrified oil lamp with a glass chimney. This is NOT to be used on an oil lamp that is burned. Where the shade will set on your lamp is affected by a few factors - the shape of your glass globe and the drop of the chimney top ring. The rings I use have a 1/2 inch drop. Please contact me with any questions so adjustments can be made if necessary.
The shade shown is a chimney top that measures 4 inches across the top, 11 inches across the bottom, and the slant height measures 7 1/2 inches. This shade can be ordered in different sizes. If you do not see the size you need, or, if you would like offers a different fitting (chimney, clip, uno, or washer), please contact me! I have made shades of all sizes for over 30 years.
Suggested max wattage for this size of shade: 40 - 60 watts.
