It is hand woven on a traditional back-strap loomowith cotton colored using natural, organic,ovegetableodyes. This is a more expensive and time-consuming pr4cess than using chemicalodyes but results in the enchanting character and softohues of the colors you see in the photos.Because of the narrow size of a back-strap loomo(narrow to fit the size of the weavers back), the fabric width is correspondingly narrow and this shirt/tunic is constr12/edoof two separate lengths of fabric, folded over at the shoulder of the garment and hand sewn together both on the sides and in the middle front and back. You may of course wear it as a tunic…or it can be re-purposed into cushions, bags, table runners, throws, etc...Theodimensions are 42 long x 22 inches wide per side and without the fringe.
