1940s offers silk rayon ascot cravat opera formal scarf burgundy abstract octagon patterned

Here's an ascot from the 1940's. It's burgundy red with octagon pattern. It has some fade, holes, and offers a missing fringe see photos. Otherwise, it's in great vintage condition.
