THE ARTIST

Nomi Silverman is a Printmaker whose work focuses on the social injustices and hardships that humanity faces today. Reminiscent of Francisco de Goya, her figurative illustrations consist of dark and aggressive marks that emit a heaviness, both physically and philosophically. Since first exhibiting in 1986, she has collections in various galleries and museums across the country, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art (NY).
