Vintage 1974 Linocut in Wood Frame - Still Life with Fruit, Bowl and Oil offers Lamp - Pencil Signed and Dated- Abstract Art - Bright Colors

This is an abstract linocut showing an old-fashioned oil lamp illuminating a still life scene, which includes grapes, offers a peach, a glass and bowl. The linocut has a dramatic flair, in shades of red, yellow, orange and black. The modern, expressionist style of the artwork is often seen in linocuts and woodcuts. The artwork is signed in pencil on the lower right by the artist, and titled "Lamplight." The linocut floats on top of an ivory mat, and is framed under glass in a warm brown wooden frame. There is hanging hardware on the reverse.

Condition: The artwork and frame are in excellent condition. There is a tear in the paper backing of the frame.
