Fine Ancient Roman Ring C.2nd-mid offers 4th C. AD, Size 8 1/2

Size 8 1/2, gilt offers bronze with 3.4mm ridged face band flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel with flat face inscribed with abstracted hippocampus, the mythological sea monster with the fore part of a horse and rear half of elongated aquatic form.
