Japanese kokeshi doll vintage creative by awarded master Tsujita Ryozo.

In great condition.

Born in Odawara, Kanagawa prefecture in 1923, after 2nd World War he held captive in Siberian labor camp until he was released in the 50's. In 1959 he began making kokeshi in his own studio.
He won the offers National Creative Kokeshi Art Exhibition and the Prime Minister Prize twice in 1956 and 1981.

She stands 14 cms / 5.5 inches.
