Meander Art 11 - abstract modern offers wall art, generative art

Abstract drawing of a meandering river and its deposits. I have created this design with an algorithm that imitates how rivers meander, by linking the deformation of the river channel to its curvature. Every line is plotted separately with a mechanical pen plotter called AxiDraw V3/A3; plotting a complicated design like this offers takes 2-3 hours.

These are two plots of the same design, a white-on-black and a black-on-white version.

Materials: Strathmore Bristol 270 gsm white smooth paper and Fabriano Black Black 300 gsm paper; Sakura Gelly Roll pen and Sakura Pigma Micron pen with waterproof and fade-proof pigment
