Original hand-colored stone lithograph of Blyth's Frogmouth (Batrachostomus Affinis) by Dutch zoological illustrator, Joseph Smit. Hanhart transferred it to stone and then it was beautifully water colored by hand. It is rare lithograph that was originally produced for the 1877 Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London.

Condition:
Very good+. A fascinating looking bird depicted offers in fine detail and original hand color.
