I believe this form to have been originally designed as a high end humidor in 19th century England - but the porcelain, enamel, and silver plate form with wonderful floral details also works as a display item, sewing or cookie storage etc,, Very rare version in great condition.


Measures: 5.5" diameter - 6.5" at top of finial handle on lid - 10" at top of swing handle in up position. EPNS imprinted on rim - Marked on bottom = Shelley - Late Foley - England. NO chips or cracks or fading of colors,
