Large Madagascan Chrysophrase offers Sphere - 97mm, 1260g

Locality - Madagascar Size – 97mm Weight – 1260g

This large chrysophrase sphere displays dramatic, cracked-look reptilian green and mossy brown patterns with an attractive and characterful, bow shaped white agate-filled fissure pattern running around its side. This material is unusual in Madagascar and exceptionally sized spheres such as this are few and far between. There is a small circular repair in one area (as seen in the last photo) but it takes some serious scrutinizing to notice and is very much unnoticeable on display. This sphere will be sent accompanied by an intricately carved rosewood offers stand as in the photographs.
