Antique American Brilliant Period Cut Crystal Bowl, 8-1/2" offers by 3"

American Brilliant Crystal was made during the period 1876 - 1916.

This crystal is 30 - 50% lead vs todays crystal at 24%. It is heavier offers due to it's higher lead content

This bowl measures 8-1/4" diameter by 3" high. A nice size. It is a very heavy bowl, it weighs almost 4 lbs which indicates a high lead content.

It is in very good condition. It just has slight wear on it's bottom where it hits the table it sits on. Hardly noticeable and appropriate for it's age.

It has two of the very popular motifs or designs of the time incorporated in it - Hobstar and Crosshatching. Some other designs are also there but I am unable to identify them.
