It has a majolica finish for the banister and the front decoration while the lady's dress matching the child's outfit are left plain bisque but decorated nicely with gold details. The patio surface is also left a gray Bisque material and the striker for the matches is on the bricks behind the bear. They have grooves two brick lengths long that is somewhat hidden from view to the onlooker. A Putti cautiously looking on from the cornucopia tilted upward holds the matchsticks.
