Large wizard staff offers

Here is a Balsam Fir staff with a nice root array. It is 71-1/4" tall and the straight shaft ranges from 1" to 1-3/4"in diameter. The roots occupy a cubic volume of about 8" on each side. The one root almost looks like an antler beam with a few tines projecting. Although it doesn't have a cradle with nicely formed sides there is nothing that says you couldn't mount an object in the middle of it. This is fresh and green as of 8/1/21, and four days later it still weighs 3# 12ozs. This weight offers will diminish greatly as it dries since it is a sofwood. You'll want to give it a month or so in and arid environment before you seal it.(ufws103) Update: well seasoned
